In our time, we are experiencing an increasing dissolution of fixed meanings across many fields—art, philosophy, politics, and culture. This shift, intensified by digitization, globalization, and postmodern discourse, challenges traditional, stable structures and brings both opportunities and challenges: it offers new freedoms while demanding a life of uncertainty and constant change.

This tendency is especially apparent in art, where artists are creating more open, flexible concepts that invite individual interpretation. The DISSOLUTION exhibition reflects this through the works of Lisa Tiemann and Maximilian Rödel, each focused on the transformative power of material, form, and color.

Lisa Tiemann: Her sculptures embody the fragile and mutable relationship between form and meaning. Tiemann questions static meanings, inviting viewers to develop fresh perspectives on matter and meaning.

Maximilian Rödel: Rödel’s work emerges organically, radiating an energy conveyed through color and material. His pieces may seem abstract yet can be interpreted as representations of unknown places revealed during the creative process.

Both artists work within a tradition that dissolves fixed meanings and liberates artistic materials—centering, in minimalist tradition, on the relationship between form and space. This exhibition creates space for new interpretations, challenging rigid paradigms.
